  2. Prepare 10 oz petite stewed tomatoes

  2. chop bacon into small peices and fry till crispy
  3. slowly add flour one tablspoon at a time.. stirring constantly
  4. *do not let flour brown
  5. when flour is absorbed add tomatoes and continue stirring
  6. as it thickens add broth/water slowly(about 3 ounces at a time) still a stirring constantly
  7. turn down and simmer stirring occasionally…untill it reaches the consistency of gravy
  8. that's it your done….
  9. serve over rice…potatoes or use as a sauce for meat

I've made Tomato Gravy in the past but never had actually seen a recipe for it. I didn't have tomato paste so used tomato sauce instead (just used a tad more flour to make sure it would thicken) and.
