  4. Let the water boil. Add pinch of salt while water gets boiled. Now add the Rava and let it cook till water is completely absorbed.
  5. Now add the carrots, cashew nuts and raisins and stir well.
  6. You can optionally pour two teaspoons ghee over the Upma when you serve it. You can also use other vegetables instead of carrot.
