  3. Prepare 1 1/2 cup hot milk

  5. Prepare Pinch cardamom powder
  6. Get 1 tbsp kismis (dry grapes)
  7. Prepare 2 tbsp mix dry fruits finely chopped

Suji ka Halwa is part of our tradition. Semolina, when made sweet, is called sheera. Several variants of this dish are available under other names in various parts of India. For instance, in Maharashtra, it is called sheera which is the sweet version and in North India it is called sooji (suji) halwa or Mohan bhog.

Instructions to make Suji ka Sheera:
  1. Take a pan on low flame add ghee. As ghee melts add Semolina. Roast it.
  2. Add kismis along with Semolina while roasting. Roast it till Semolina get golden and kismis got puffed. It released so lovely aroma.
  3. Now add hot milk and stir continuously. Add cardamom powder and Keep stirring otherwise it will got lumps. Always it depends on suji what quantity of milk it will consume so do it accordingly.
  4. Once all milk get absorb and suji get cooked add sugar. Mix it well and get all sugar dissolves and absorb by the suji. Now off the flame add mix dry fruits.
  5. Mix it all well and enjoyyyyyyyyyyyy the sheera
