Although a Paella pan is recommended, our Paella turned out good using a cast iron skillet. Add the mussels and clams, pushing them down into the rice mixture. The rice was gummy and it didnt have much flavor. If you are used to having actual paella. Paella rice can always be swapped for risotto rice.
