  2. Get 2 cups Yellow peas
  3. Take 2 tsp flour Gram

  8. Make ready 1 tsp Cumin seeds

  13. Get 1 lemon juice
  14. Prepare 1/2 cup Peanuts
  15. Make ready Red chutney
  16. Make ready 1 cup Tamrind,
  17. Prepare 1/2 cup Jaggery
  18. Prepare 2 dates
  19. Get Patties
  20. Get 8-9 Boiled Potato
  21. Prepare 1-2 tsp cumin seeds powder, chat masala,
  22. Take 4 tsp Cornflower
  23. Prepare as required Oil for frying
  24. Take 2 Onion
  25. Prepare as required Sev

Ragda Patties, one of the most famous street foods of Mumbai, is a satiating snack that is loved by people of all ages. Ragda Patties (pronounced as Pattice) are flavorful potato patties smothered with a zesty sauce made with vatana or dried white peas. It is then garnished with sweet and spicy chutneys, sev. Potato patties are topped with dried green peas gravy, two chutneys (green coriander chutney and tamarind date chutney), onions and sev.

Steps to make Ragda Patties:
  1. For Green chutney: take a mixi bowl add coriander,mint leaves, green chilli, garlic, lemon, peanuts, salt and sugar blend them in a mix jar add water as well.
  2. For red chutney: Take tamrind put it in water and then mash it with hand. Now add jaggery, dates,salt and black salt in it let it boil on hight flame for 5 min.
  3. For Chole :- soaked the yellow peas overnight in a water then boil it in pressure cooker by adding baking soda and potato as well in it together. Now take one pan add oil in it heat it up.
  4. Now put some cumin seeds, green chilli and then gram flour mix it till it gets brown in colour. Then add turmeric,salt and red chilli. After that add peas in it and water (1 bowl) in it boil it for 5 min.
  5. For patties :- Take all potatoes peel it add salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder, chat masala and corn flour in ut.
  6. Mix it and then fry it in a pan till the color turns brown. Take one plate put patties in it followed by chole, green chutney, red chutney,onion and sev.
