  5. Make ready 2 cups grated dry coconut
  6. Get 1 tbsp poppy seed
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp nutmug powder
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp cloves powder
  9. Take 2 cups jaggery
  10. Take 1 cup ghee / clariefied butter

The ingredients used in both are almost same and in gond ladoo recipe, it is just shaped into balls with gond laddu. Antina unde - Healthy, delicious & nutrient dense sweet balls or ladoos made with dry fruits, nuts, jaggery & edible gum. Antu means gum in kannada & unde translates to balls. Antina unde are a traditional sweet snack from Karnataka cuisine.

Instructions to make Gondh laddu /Energy balls/Antinaunde:
  1. Heat ghee in heavy bottomedpan when it alightly heat up fry the edible gums in low flame untill they popup like popcorns, strain them from ghee and keep aside.
  2. In the same pan roast Almonds, cashews, grated coconut, poppy seeds and dry dates one by one, let everything cool completely.
  3. Blend almonds, cashew nuts and dry dates, poppyseeds, gondh in blits, separately then combine them in a large bowl, with nutmeg and clove powder, grated coconut.
  4. Now heat the jaggery with 1 tbsp water when it reaches 1 layer syrup pour it on the mixture and remaining ghee if left means, mix all together well and make lemon sized balls.
  5. Let it cool completely and store in air tight container, it goes well for 2 -3 months.
