  1. Get 1/2 cup Kabuli chana
  2. Take 1/2 cup white dry peas
  3. Get 1 big potato

  5. Take Water as required

  7. Make ready 1 bay leaf
  8. Make ready 1 inch cinnamon stick
  9. Make ready 6-7 garlic cloves

  12. Take 1 big onion sliced
  13. Prepare 3-4 tbsp oil
  14. Get 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  15. Make ready 1 tsp turmeric powder
  16. Make ready 1 tsp red chilli powder
  17. Make ready 1/4 tsp hing
  18. Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin and coriander powder
  19. Get To taste Salt
  20. Make ready As needed Chopped onions
  21. Get Handful coriander leaves leaves chopped
  22. Take As needed Sweet chutney
  23. Make ready As needed Sour and spicy chutney
  24. Get As needed Sev
  25. Prepare 5-6 bread slice pieces(or 2-3 pav, pieces)

Instructions to make Ragda pav:
  1. Take chick peas and white peas into a bowl and soak them for 6-8hrs. Then add into pressure cooker and add chopped potato. Add 2 cloves and bay leaf. And do 4-5 whistle on medium heat. Let it cool down.
  2. Now take all ingredients(onion, green chilli, garlic, ginger, cinnamon and clove)for paste, and heat tawa. Add 1small spoon of oil and saute all that for 5 minutes until light brown in colour. (I took 2cloves which I added to cook chick peas, do not add 4 cloves, use cooked one to paste)
  3. Now add this to grinding jar and add tomato into it. Make a smooth paste and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil and add cumin seeds, let it crackle, then add prepared paste and cook till oil release.
  5. Then add dry masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing, cumin and coriander powder and salt as require. Mix well and cook for a min.
  6. Now add cooked chick peas and potato. Simmer for 5-7min.
  7. Add bread pieces into bowl and add prepared ragda, add sweet chutney, spicy chutney, onions and coriander chopped. Top with some sev and serve hot.
