  3. Final step is tempering,take a pan add oil followed by hing,mustard seeds,curry leaves,red chilli,both the daals and let it dance over the rice.
  4. Top it up with peanut and coriander leaves and serve.
  5. For potato fries simply peel and cut it,after cutting let it dry.then add salt,haldi and mirchi powder.
  6. Put a kadai add oil for frying once the oil is done put the sliced potato and deep fry it.

Add the cooked potatoes, rice, scallions, yellow curry powder, and soy sauce to the wok or pan. Stir until the rice takes on a nice yellow color. Taste the fried rice and adjust the seasoning to your taste. curry is my family's favorite and kids will eat a little extra rice if i make this curry.
