  1. Prepare 1/2 kg Whole Wheat flour
  2. Prepare 450 gm desi Ghee
  3. Prepare 2 tbsp suwadana
  4. Make ready 50 gm Almonds
  5. Take 50 gm walnuts
  6. Get (other Dryfruits like Cashews,pista,chironji etc can be taken)
  7. Get 200 gm desi Jaggery
  8. Take 50 gm edible Gum
  9. Make ready 2-3 tbsp Dry Ginger powder
  10. Take 2-3 tbsp long pepper powder ( piparamul or ganthhoda
  11. Get 100 gm shredded dry coconut

Gond ke laddu (Edible Gum Ladoo). Gond Ke Laddu is rich in nutrients and traditional Indian sweet which is prepared in winters and a great healthy snack. Edible gum also called as Indian edible gum ghatti gum is a natural resin got from axle wood tree.

Steps to make Edible Gum (gond) laddus:
  1. Heat some Ghee in a pan.fry edible gum in batches till they puff up on a slow flame.Take out in a Plate.In the same Ghee fry Almonds and walnuts till crispy golden brown. Take out in another plate.Off the flame.
  2. Take a wok,add rest of Ghee and wheat flour in it Roast it on medium to low flame by stirring continuously. It change its colour and flour becomes fluffy,gives an aroma.
  3. At this time flour turns reddish brown in colour. Add dry ginger powder,long pepper powder and suwadana. Mix well and Roast for a min or two.off the flame.Crush the Fried gum Coarsely with katori by pressing on Fried gum.Coarsely grind fried Almonds and walnuts.Now mix dry coconut, edible gum and Coarsely ground dry fruits in roasted wheat flour.Mix well.In the leftover Ghee in which Dryfruits were fried,add grated Jaggery. Heat and keep stirring till all Jaggery melts
  4. Mix crushed edible gun,shredded dry coconut and Coarsely ground dry fruits to this mixture.Mix on low flame.Add melted Jaggery in it and keep stirring till the mixture mixes well and becomes thick.off the flame.Take out in a Plate and allow to cool.When the mixture is little warm, make laddus.
