  6. In the same oil add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cardamom,cloves.Cook for about a min.
  7. Add a tsp of sugar mix well.
  8. Add ginger paste,cook for 1-2 min till the raw smell of ginger gone.Add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder, sprinkle little salt.Cover & cook till the tomatoes are done.
  9. Add cumin paste, turmeric powder, green chillies,add a little water, mix well.As the mixture starts to release oil, add the fried potatoes & jackfruit.Mix well.
  10. Add enough hot water to cover the vegetables,add salt.Add sugar,ghee & garam masala powder mix well.Cover the pan & let it rest for sometimes & serve hot.

Method: Apply cooking oil to the hands and cut the jackfruit into medium pieces after removing the outer skin and inner pith. I prepared the dish without onion and Urad Dal and it tasted very good.
