Steps to make Beetroot Burfi:
  1. Wash, peel and grate beetroot.
  2. Put it in a mixer and coarsely grind it.
  3. Heat ghee in a wok. Add grinded beetroot and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.

  6. Add magaj, raisins and chopped almonds and mix and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Keep on cooking and stirring till it becomes a lump. Switch off the flame. Transfer it in a greased thali and spread evenly.
  8. Refrigerate it for half an hour. Then cut pieces. Garnish each piece with cashewnut.
