  4. Keep tawa to get heat. Take roti into your hand and place on tawa. Cook the bottom side for few seconds on medium flame.when air bubbles appear at the top turn flame into high with the help of tongs flip it and place the roti directly on the flame.
  5. The side which was cooked for few seconds will faced the flame. Once roti is placed on flame it puffs up immediately take roti on the plate and apply ghee. Meanwhile keep other roti ready on the board and place on tawa.it can be served with any gravy.
  6. Roti should not be too thick nor thin. And there are stands available in market to make phulka but I have directly placed the roti on the stove. Do not waste more dusting flour. Do not add more water while kneading dough. It may spoil. Puffing of phulka can be obtained only by practice.
