Hello everybody, it is me, Dave, welcome to our recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, sambar and rice. One of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Sambar and Rice is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It is appreciated by millions daily. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes delicious. Sambar and Rice is something that I have loved my whole life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

I have used a mix of toor and moong dal. Sambar rice recipe with step by step pics. Sambar rice or sambar sadam is an easy to prepare The consistency of sambar rice can be easily adjusted like Khichdi. if you want to make a slightly liquid.

To begin with this recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook sambar and rice using 6 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Sambar and Rice:
  1. Get 1 Bowl Sambar
  2. Make ready 1 Bowl Plain Steam Rice
  3. Take 1-2 slices Capsicum
  4. Get 1 small piece carrot
  5. Take 1 Teaspoon Mustard seeds
  6. Make ready 1 Teaspoon ghee

You can easily prepare in a pressure cooker or an instant pot. Sambar Rice Recipe - It is also called Sambar Sadam Recipe. As the name says, here sambar and rice both cooked together and served as a meal. This recipe is from Tamil cuisine.

Instructions to make Sambar and Rice:
  1. 1st take a plate pour there Sambar, then take 2 moulds as shown in the fig below.
  2. Apply some ghee to it and grease them well and pour Rice to it. Then tap them well with the help of your hand. Now pour the Rice on the Sambar plate.
  3. Now shape them like a snow Man and arrange all veggies as required.
  4. Face: Rice, Bottom: Rice, Scarf: skin of tomatoes, Eyes: Mustard Seeds, Neck Bow: A small piece of Capsicum, Cap: A small piece of tomato and Capsicum and at last Mouth: A small piece of tomato.
  5. It's done. Serve it and enjoy.
