  9. Prepare 2.5 cups water for pressure cooking
  10. Take 1 teaspoon crushed kasuri methi (dry fenugreek leaves)
  11. Get 1-2 tablespoon cream (optional)
  12. Make ready 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves (dhania patta)
  13. Make ready as required salt
  14. Take for the tempering/tadka:
  15. Get 2 tablespoon oil OR 1.5 tablespoon ghee or butter
  16. Get 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
  17. Prepare 5-6 garlic cloves (lahsun) - finely chopped
  18. Prepare 2-3 dry red chilies (sookhi lal mirch)
  19. Prepare 1 generous pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  20. Get 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder (lal mirch powder)
  21. Prepare for garnish:
  22. Take 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves (dhania patta)
  23. Prepare for the dhungar method:
  24. Take 1 small piece of charcoal
  25. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon ghee or oil
