  1. Prepare 1/2 cup Arhar Dal
  2. Get 1/2 cup Moong Dal split

  20. Prepare some Fresh Coriander Chopped

  1. Wash dal and add in a pressure cooker along with 3 cups of water, turmeric and salt to taste. - Pressure cook until dal is nicely cooked.when cools down Mash the dal using the back of a ladle.
  2. Now Heat ghee in a pan.add onion and fry until slightly browned. - Add ginger and garlic and fry for a minute. - Add green chilli and tomato and cook till tomato become soft.
  3. Now add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and the cooked dal. Add salt and bring the dal to boil.cook for 4-5 minutes. - Add lemon juice and mix well.
  4. For tempering, heat ghee in a pan. - add cumin seeds - Add dry red chillies and garlic, curry leaves and fry until garlic turns brown
  5. Now Pour the prepared tempering over the dal. Garnish with fresh coriander. and serve hot.
